For those of you that dont know, Yuwie is a brand new free (obviously) socialnetworking community, like myspace or facebook, except it actually gives its users a cut of the profits that they get from advertisers. Referrals: Obviously the first step you need to take to start making money on Yuwie and the best way to build your network is through referring people. The first steps are obvious things like messages/e-mails (try to make it personal so people realize its you and not a hacker) and actually talking to them in person. After that you need to step outside your box alittle bit but its not too hard of a thing to do some of my personal tried and proved referral methods are;

Via Youtube: Almost all computers nowdays come with video making software, and it is alot easier than many people think to create movies, even if you dont have a video camera. If you dont have movie maker software, then you can download and use windows movie maker. Basically what you do is make a movie that people are likely to look at, such as somthing that is popular at the time, (snowboarding, music, girls, etc.) and add your referral url (ex:http://r.yuwie.com/tannerdanger) into the movie description. This is great because videos get alot of views so you are likely to get alot of people looking at your referral link.

Via Myspace: Myspace is a pretty good way to get all of your friends to know about Yuwie. You can leave info via bulletins, comments or messages with info about yuwie and your referral link. The only downside to this is that myspace accounts are hacked so often that people will often believe that your message is just spam from a hacker so try to make the messages meaningful and personal.

Via Facebook: Facebook is a personal favorite of mine, mostly because accounts are never really hacked so your messages are taken more seriously. A great way to get referrals from facebook other than just messages and writing on walls is to leave messages on group walls. Aim for larger groups that have many many people on at any given time. This will get your link alot of views before the group manager deletes it.
